Morgan Stanbury

Director

Morgan has over 20 years of experience in the traffic, parking and transport industry, having contributed to land use projects across a wide range of development categories. Prior to establishing Stanbury Traffic Planning, Morgan formed part of a number of Sydney based consulting firms which has afforded an extensive experience in a range of projects across the private and public sectors.

Work undertaken for the private sector includes development based traffic, parking and transport reviews throughout the evolution of a development. Morgan provides consulting services throughout conceptual design, planning proposal, development application, construction certificate, occupation certificate and operational stages of development. This typically includes review of development plans, parking impact analyses, external traffic impact analyses, car parking certification, construction traffic management and assistance with internal and external road user movement. 

Morgan also provides services to the public sector, which involves working with local and state government funded projects such as road safety auditing, accident investigation and prevention studies, route development studies, local area traffic management schemes and pedestrian access and mobility plans.

Highly respected in the industry, Morgan has a reputation for providing a highly personalised hands-on service with the objective of providing the best possible outcome for the client in a timely manner. He is committed to ensuring all potential project considerations are explored with the overall aim of not only providing safe and efficient solutions but also cost-effective recommendations for clients. 

Outside of work, Morgan enjoys spending time outside, running, going to the beach and snowboarding.

Chris Nguyen

Senior Traffic Engineer

Chris graduated from University of Technology Sydney with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering. Prior to joining Stanbury Traffic Planning, Chris gained invaluable experience working at a number of regional councils in NSW, where he performed a variety of roles focusing on traffic engineering. His experience working in Council has provided him with a unique perspective in the traffic and development industry.

Since joining Stanbury Traffic Planning in 2022, Chris has worked on various land-use developments. His specialties lie in preparation of traffic and parking impact assessments, construction traffic management plans, road intersection / network modelling, traffic and parking surveys, swept path plans and traffic guidance schemes.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys travelling, mountain climbing, reading books and watching movies.

Matthew Houlden

Senior Traffic Engineer

Matthew has over 16 years of experience in the transport industry and has completed a wide range development impact and transport projects in Victoria and New South Wales. Prior to joining Stanbury Traffic Planning, Matthew also worked in Local Government and for Transport for New South Wales, which has provided valuable experience when speaking and negotiating with Government entities.

Since joining the team at Stanbury Traffic Planning, Matthew has completed projects across a variety of land-uses and scales. His tasks have included the undertaking of traffic and parking surveys / observations, road intersection / network modelling, the preparation of the traffic and parking impact assessments, road safety audits, green travel plans and construction traffic management plans.

Outside of work, Matthew enjoys playing golf, touch football and snorkelling.

Sherlock You

Senior Traffic Designer

Sherlock brings over 7 years experience in the traffic consulting and construction industry and has been involved in a significant number of projects across New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland, developing a diverse technical skill set. Sherlock is passionate about finding creative solutions to achieve better project outcomes.

Outside of work, Sherlock enjoys Tennis and Motorcycle riding.

Qualifications

  • Diploma of Civil Construction Design 
  • Road Safety Auditor 
  • Preparation of Work Zone Traffic Management Plans – SafeWork NSW.
  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (OH&S) 

Elizabeth Stanbury

Office Manager

Elizabeth brings more than 15 years experience working in Financial Services in the areas of Customer Service Management, People & Culture, Process Improvement and Risk and Compliance. Elizabeth joined the Stanbury Traffic Planning team in 2018 and since then has enjoyed the challenge of applying her skills in a new industry.

Coupled with a strong background in people management and customer experience, Elizabeth performs a variety of roles within the business including accounts management, process review initiatives, human resource management and staff engagement, as well as advising the team on financial, compliance and organisational matters.

Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys keeping fit outdoors and spending time with friends and family.

Juno Stanbury

Chief Happiness Officer (CHO)

Juno has been a pivotal member of the team at Stanbury Traffic Planning since 2020, making herself available for cuddles and pats for all team members on a daily basis.  Juno also has appointed herself to the role of security officer, ensuring the team are kept safe and secure whilst at work.  

Outside of work, Juno enjoys walks by the harbour, playing with her friends at the park, taking long naps and eating treats.
